Emergencies
Classes are not dismissed and will resume when notified that the danger has passed
Fire
Alarm will sound.
All faculty, staff, and students should proceed to the nearest exit and move to the grassy area by the lake.
The Instructor will take accountability by verifying all students on the class roster have left the building.
Tornado/Weather
Notification will be given.
All faculty, staff, and students should proceed to the interior hall on the first floor away from any windows.
Everyone should stay in the interior halls until the “All Clear” is given by a representative of the Fire College.
DO NOT GET INTO A VEHICLE!
Suspicious Package or Envelope, located on the interior or exterior of the building:
DO NOT touch, shake, or empty the contents of any suspicious package or envelope.
Contact faculty or staff and tell them the location; they will contact Campus Security.
Leave the room and close the door.
Instructors: Move class to the grassy area by the lake. Make a list of who was in the class or office with name and phone number. If a powder is present, DO NOT clean-up the powder.
